I’ve always written about the things we feel deeply but don’t always know how to say – the love that scares us, the people we miss, the things we wish we had said sooner, and the quiet moments when we’re trying to find our way back to ourselves. I don’t write because I have all the answers. I write because sometimes a story can say what we couldn’t.
And if something I’ve written has ever made you stop and think, “Wait… I’ve felt this too,” then maybe we’ve already met somewhere between the pages.

My next book began on the kind of nights when I was tired of being strong, tired of second-guessing myself, and honestly, tired of putting everyone else first. I started writing letters to myself.
